Sooooo, a second for Pickering and a 5th for Granlund?

I love Saros, actually have a man crush on the guy. I'd love to have him on the Habs, but he's 28. He'll be 30-32 when the Habs are projected to compete again. A team like Ottawa might give you something, as much as I'd hate to see Juice in black and red.

Eh, that was massively expensive, but I think they QO him at 895k for a year then work out an extension when the cap jumps a bit. They were just buying cap space.

Granlund on the other hand just flatlined in Pitt.

Pens decline. They can just buyout Granlund and keep their assets to build their weak prospect pool.

Terrible trade giving up a 2nd with no retention but I've gotta say Greenway was the worst. A 2nd and 5th for a guy who scored 11 pts last year.
