That trade is so bad. You give up a top 6 winger, and two promising young players plus prospects for a 4C (Schiefele won't play any higher because he's garbage defensively. Rod has made that clear in the past if you do not play well defensively, you don't play) and a pure rental goalie. If you want Hellebuyck that bad, wait a year and sign him in free agency. This is a MAJOR step backwards for this roster

Delusional to call suzuki and drury "promising" and to call Schief a 4C but the Canes decline

If you do not think Suzuki is promising, you're braindead. He's been so good when he's been able to play. Even with his injury issues, he's got NHL upside. Drury has been super promising, reason he is on the top line for the Canes when healthy right now, but you know, try to correct me when you're wrong.

Schiefele would be a 4C in Carolina because he cannot play defense. We've seen this with other players. Bad defensive performances see ice time get eaten down to a minimum. Schiefele cannot play defense.

Seeing the Scheifele is so bad defensively, he wont be used against top lines and in turn used as a winger or a 4C. Canes value 200 foot play over all things. Its how we operate.
