Lowrys value is a 2nd alone and nothing more. Zadinas in there because a contract would have to go the other way and honestly I picked Z because it just isn't working out for him in Detroit and maybe it does in Winnipeg. I'd be rooting for him. And Zadina's potential on top of the 2nd could be enough to sway Winnipeg into trading Lowry. Winnipeg probably declines but worth a shot.

Can't see WPG moving Lowry even for an overpay. He is one of the only guys who actually gives it his all every single night and I could see either him or Morrissey as the next captain of this team. I'm not saying value is off, I just think its extremely unlikely WPG considers moving him.

You’re very right. I think Zadina and a 2nd is an overpay for Lowry but I would do it because he’s that heart and soul guy which Detroit needs more of. This kind of trade could big time backfire on Detroit if Zadina goes on to be a 25-30 goal guy. He has often been on a line with guys like Adam Erne, Pius Suter or Luke Glendening for most of his young career. Winnipeg just has better talent to surround him with in Scheifele, Conner, Ehlers, Dubois, Wheeler, etc.

Wings pass, have enough bottom 6 guys

Yea we have a lot of bottom six guys and they all suck except for Rasmussen and Veleno. You need a solid bottom six if you want to make the playoffs. Lowry would help that a lot. Zadina is currently in our bottom six and he sucks in that role.

I don't agree And think our bottom 6 is one of the strongest in the nhl, the top 6 is the issue. I wouldn't do this trade, we need to upgrade where it matters for them
