I do not think Montreal would get that much for Primeau. A second round pick from Arizona is essentially a late first round pick and Primeau has not yet proven to be worth that, as much as I don't like to say it as a Habs fan.

Arizona have too much pick draft (4x in round 2 just this year) (see the next two years) and have a place for a young goaltender not expensive! May be forget the 7th round pick but it's not about a habs fan. MTL needs to trade a goaltender before the next season start and with this pick he can do a better offer sheet to Pierre-Luc Dubois or just bluff Winnipeg for complete a not expensive trade for him.

We don't need Primeau but would take him for a late 3rd or a 4th

ARI are overpaying for an unproven goaltender but who would MTL's future goalie be?

I think Ylonen is more likely to get a second in return than Primeau
