I didn’t see Brannstrom in the deal and with that I wouldon’t do it. But the 8th overall for Cat is a great piece that we could flip for Saros

I think this deal is more bad for Washington imo (Sens). This is an extremely deep draft so moving the 8oa pick for a player that we are going to have to A) overpay to get then B) overpay to keep seems like a terrible idea. Most i would offer for Cat is 2024 1st 2025 2nd Sonny and Lap. He had 66p and only 27 goals. Strome had 65p in 23goals. Capital might be able to finda better value in Fa and not give up an amazing pick

Highly doubt Capitals move the 8oa pick in this draft for Debrincat... esp when hes coming off a down year, 12 less points and 14 less goals than the year prior.

Not sure where the hell you are getting your news from, but Texier was allowed to play overseas to be close to his family after the loss of multiple close family members.
The Jackets like the kid a lot and will be happy to have him back next year.
