I didn't post the trade referenced. If Drury needs to move Goodrow for cap reasons, I guarantee he finds many teams willing to trade for him and I doubt he will have to retain salary. If Marc Staal can be traded without retaining salary with the bad contract he had, Goodrow will be an easy trade. Hopefully, it doesn't come to that.

9/10 teams take barbashev over Goodrow at that price. He’s 3 years younger and produces the same and has a 60 point season on his resume. Not really a hot take at all

Please keep him. He fits well in NY. Sharks have no use for him at all. Prefer Nico Sturm and his leadership.

I think most Ranger fans want to keep him and Turk and Drury love him, as do his teammates. The only reason he would be moved is if signing Miller and Laffy eats up too much cap space.

Watch him have another excellent playoffs. Goodrow was always most effective when the games really matter.

Also do SJ fans a favour and lose to NJ so they can make the conference finals and we get NJs 2024 1st too. Do us that solid and we'll take Miller in the offseason so you don't have to pay him so much and can in turn keep Goody forever!! What a deal!

Getting past NJ isn't going to be easy. You can have Miller, but it will cost you 10 years of 1st round picks plus Hertl with 50% retention. Having Miller back will make Quinn happy. How's that for a solid?
