Take the picks out of the Lowry for Granlund trade the value isn't that far apart. With Harris and Guhle Montreal isn't going to give up a 3rd for JPO. The rest heavily favor Pittsburgh and won't even be considered.

What is with this Rust hate? In the past 4 years this is his only non-PPG year. Even then he has 20 goals, plays physical, kills penalties, and shows up big in the playoffs. 5MM a year is a good deal now and will only be a little bad at the end.

I'd take Rust. He's always been underrated. But I'm not trading Walman. He compliments Seider very well.

Yzerman just extended Walman, We're not trading him. Petry will be long gone before we're competitive. While Rust would be nice. We aren't taking on either player for the cost of your younger core.

Can not see Yzerman trading Wallman after he got him and now plays on the top.pairing with Seider. Just can not see Wings trading 2 young players and pi ks for 2 older more expensive players.
