Easy No from the Sabres. JJ is pretty much on par with Laf already and I am retaining on a perennial 20-30 goal scorer plus giving a very high 2nd. Buffalo says No.

Neither team would make that trade.
Buffalo would add another first overall pick to Power and Dahlin.
But the Rangers get Peterka with 1.9pt/60 v Alexis 2.0pt/60, Olofsson's 26 goals, and an early 2nd round pick.
The Ranger may say no, but it is not an easy no!
Buffalo would be stupid to make this deal.

It's an easy no for the Rangers. Laffy has had very limited top 6 and PP mins, but that's going to change next year and his ceiling is way higher than anything in this trade. Drury wouldn't even consider it.
