Anybody with 2 firsts and especially if they are both lottery, I would be jumping, especially if he drops a little on uncertainty. I would rank Montreal a little higher, a team with some Russians currently wouldn’t hurt either. Will be interesting on what he turns into and how soon.

I just don’t see the logic to it with PLD liking coming in next season someone’s gonna get moved to the wing clearly

Good call, I still like the gamble of that ceiling and may hit exactly when needed in a couple years. I don’t quite agree with Montreal’s plan on building and the next price simply growing on trees. Elite offensive Center would be number one on my list, possibly number 1 dman slightly behind it over another dach/Suzuki, for the money and style of play I wouldn’t be that excited 7/8 year x 7/9 million per, especially over a 7 year run of a rookie for less money.
Michkov is going to be the biggest steal of the draft if he drops out of the top 3. Idk what has happened, but people seem to forget how great this kid is. He is a horse

More like a small pony! Guy is maybe 5’8” and 155 pounds dripping wet.
Sharks have so many small forwards in their prospect pool and their GM has come out saying he wants to go bigger stronger grittier. Michkov is none of those.

No one denies his talent his only problem is that whoever gets first is guaranteed not to draft him (which is currently on pace to be Anaheim) and 2 and 3 (Columbus and Chicago so far) have virtually zero need for a winger so that drops him to 4
He's also a goal scoring machine. I don't know how people can still rant and rave about height in today's NHL. Look at 5'10 Patrick Kane
It’s not the issue is once was but with Michkov our lineup gets very small in a few years this is what the sharks top 7 forward prospects would look like…
Eklund 5’11, Michkov 5’8, Bordeleau 5’10”, Robins 5’9” Gushin 5’8” Wiesblatt 5’9” Bystedt 6’2”. That 1guy over 6’. You can see the issue isn’t his size, it’s the fact the sharks lack any high level prospects with size! This year they need to add a few guys with some size to balance the future out a bit,

I do agree that Michkov probably isn't the best fit for the Sharks (Fantilli would be a perfect Shark), my arguement is just that Michkov is an undeniable talent.

He absolutely is but Fantilli would be perfect for the sharks with Will Snithbveing a decent consolation prize.
If sharks get Michyukov it would be the end for one OA the sharks younger prospects having to be moved.
Honestly I would have Chicago much higher on this list. They've only just started their rebuild, waiting 3-4 years for a star player to arrive would suit them just fine.
Teams like Vancouver, Detroit, Ottawa and Buffalo already have most of their future core sorted out, they aren't going to want to wait 4 years until the final piece falls into place. They want to start up the ladder now.

My argument against Chicago is that we need to find our franchise centre, the wingers seem somewhat solidified

Since Michkov won't be over for another 4 years or so, that gives Chicago many opportunities to draft more top-10's before they're ready to push for the playoffs.
