Those two adds in top 9 niederreiter and namestnikov are pretty much perfect fits, scheifele on the wing is growing on me, not sure if it’s matching extensions with helly growing, but appreciating it non the less. Don’t mind another swing at Vegas in the playoffs if that how it lines up, jets do owe them a ousting

I say the best route is through the pacific and playing an injured VGK team. Not saying that we will win but its the best chance in my mind

Ya central is a gauntlet for sure, it is kind of similar though, col/edm lak/min and dal/Vegas, but ya three in pacific don’t seem as intimidating, col have experience and makar over edm, kings min kind of heavy game either way, and Dallas has a superior tender over Vegas.

Those two adds replaced Copp and Stastny so they put this team back on par with the team they had last season.

Think of what they might look like if Chevy did a bit more at the TDL and added one or two more Namestnikov and Niederreiter types, still have some real dead weight in that bottom six.

Agreed kind of a band aid approach without a whole lot in reserve, looks good for now with not a lot of injuries, upgrade on namestnikov and have more of a legit 2c add may have brought on the scheifele to the wing sooner. Damn does Winnipeg need an actual perfect storm to ever lift the cup. Sleepy Chevy has got to go, or possibly to president or something and more of a river boat gambler as his replacement. Just keep wondering what this team might do if they could get some more legit NHL talent sprinkled throughout the forward group, am aware acquiring a top 4 dman or 2C is costly but there was a lot of good 3rd and 4th liners that could've been added for mid to late round picks.

Nick Ritchie was given away by Arizona and he has 5 points in 12 games for the Flames, M.Johannson and Sundqvist would surely be helping more then the likes of Appleton, Barron, Kuhlman, etc. We talk about this organization's loyalty program problem with Wheeler but why are they so loyal to bottom sixers that barely produce? Hot damn are they worried about alienating Morgan freakin Barron ffs?!?!!.. lol

Well the Moose don't find the diamonds in the rough, Chevy and his scouting staff are supposed to and the Moose are supposed to develop them. Guess a guy like Eyssimont was a bit of a success but he was lost on waivers cause he isn't a right handed shot like Kuhlman or an east coast kid like Barron, swear thats the only reason those guys stay in the lineup... lol

Check out the Jets drafting since the Laine pick, almost no draft picks in the lineup since scoring the 2nd overall pick seven ****ing years ago! That's probably why the Moose haven't developed anything, cause there's nothing there to develop.
