Eichel and Reinhart wanted out of Buffalo, As did Rasmus Ristolainen. So it's not happening. Plus having Eichel and Reinhart on the books. Probably hurts your ability to re-sign both Dahlin and Power.

I mean the point of this was just to show how well they did in the trades

I'm happy with adams. He did pretty well on the eichel trade, and the Reinhart and ristolainen trades have been very good so far. I kinda wish he would shoot a little higher in net, I totally get not wanting to overpay for a goalie, but you've gotta shoot for at least average. I hope philosophically he would like to add some size and grit, especially on d.

Sabres no doubt win that Eichel trade even if Ostlund turns into nothing and Greenway fades out. Tuch is a game-breaking player who plays a 200 foot game and loves Buffalo. He'll stick around after his current contract expires. Krebs has produced nicely even with the limited ice-time he has. Give him a bigger role and he is a 40-50 point guy.

Florida trade is still currently a win for Florida because Reinhart is an impactful NHL player. Levi and Kulich are both insanely good prospects, but as of yet have not proven to have that translate to the NHL. Kulich at minimum is a 3rd line depth scorer, at best who knows elite top line winger? So within a year or two that trade may likely be a huge W for Buffalo as well.

As to size and physicality on D... We have 6'3'' Dahlin, 6'4'' Sam, 6'6'' Power. The other 3 D are smaller and only Lyubushkin and Stillman are "physical." In my opinion it's not the size or even the physicality that is needing to be improved on. We simply just need higher quality D men on top of Dahls, Sammy, and OP. Lyu, Joki, and Stillman are all good 6th D-men. Problem is 2 of them are considered our 4th and 5th Dmen. If Ryan Johnson signs then right there we have an extremely capable puck moving D-men to slot into the lineup. We likely draft a couple of really good D prospects this draft so that will help moving forward. I would love to see us sign or trade for a very steady RHD to have on the second pairing. I'd like to deal Jokiharju and keep Lyubushkin on the 3rd pair. Options I could see for trade are guys like Borgen, Petry, Murphy. Signings Severson, Mayfield, Clifton

I hope Adams uses this draft to fill a little of the D pool. Really the only part of the Organization that is hurting

First, Just to be clear, when I saw Tuch was coming to Buffalo I knew Buffalo won.
Right now, I would not trade Tuch for Eichel if that was the offer.
Second, when I saw that we only got a first and a former 7th roung pick for Sam, I nearly fainted.
Then when I was able to research Devon, I was more than satisfied.
Karmanos, Ventura and Crowe certainly had a lot to do with all of the deals (Sam, Rasmus and Jack).

EDIT: Let me add, thanks for reminding me that Jordan was actually part of the Jack trade.
I was not thrilled with giving up a second for Greenway, but maybe it will turn out exceptionally well.

Jost is another, was very happy when Ventura was brought aboard. Tuch was a very good get

I agree.
Add Clague, Lyubushkin, Comrie, Stillman, Anderson, Hinostroza and even Subban were all good additions while not big splashes.

Same! Loved Tuch as a player when I started watching VGK at the beginning. Always saw a player better than his role there - didn't think he'd be THIS good tbf tears of joy , but didn't need him to be at the time of the trade to be more than happy with the return
