I don't see how buying out a top 9 forward is an Acquilini move... Aqua is cheap so paying a player to not play for our team would make no sense...

Worse case scenario they trade him for future considerations... Those rumours are all complete BS and management, players have both said many times that those rumours don't mean ANYTHING. If we ALWAYS listened to unsupported rumours, then we should have expected Boeser to be traded 4 years ago.

And I don't think I agree with the latter. There are certainly worse players - but the buyout cost just doesn't make sense to do that for them - and others have some trade value (like Boeser)

It easily makes more sense. I don't know what OP is even thinking. Garland is 26, OEL is 31. Garland is actually a good player, OEL is not. Garland costs less than 5 mil, OEL costs more than 7 mil. Doesn't seem like logic sits well with the creator of this acgm
