Rd is not a shortage... that is incorrect....they just have more Ld and they have lots of def.. So both picks will be forwards this time... They have Barron and savard and Mailloux and hutson plays rd even though he is left handed and harris played alot of Rd as well... So yes if they draft a def later they would prefer Rd the big need on the habs is for game breaking forwards with size and goalies
