There's been rumbling that he might want out due to the fact that Philly is heading for a rebuild here, That would be pretty cold of Danny Briere to trade him to a team that's in even worse mess than Philly in Arizona.

If Philly moves Konecny, Provorov, and Hart and comes away without any first round picks it would be a failure.

I wouldn’t say that Arizona is in a worse mess than Philadelphia from a hockey standpoint. They have a number of good pieces and 13 picks in the first two rounds the next three years.

I don't think Dallas makes that trade simply due to cap space and the other options they have knocking on the door of the NHL...Bourque included.

Konecny is who you HOPE Bourque can become. Stars absolutely pull the trigger on this trade.

technically bourque and johnson are both first round picks and have both shown promise so far, which eliminates part of the magic bean aspect of the picks

I think both players could probably pull a former 1st rounder as well as the pick even if it means that's the extent of the package. I'm somewhat familiar with Bourque since he was expected to go around the range of the Flyers pick in 2020 not so much with Johnson. Anyway, I'd rather them get a pick and be able to get a guy they think fits their needs
