I don't think it would be wise to make Lafreniere a 1LW. The guy produces well but analyzing his attributes, he's not an NHLer. Every time he receives the puck along the wall or under pressure, he can't keep his balance and gets knocked over. He needs to improve his skating poster so he can keep his balance in tight.

Right now, his only strength is scoring goals when unmarked.

If I was giving all that up I'd have traded for Meier. Now if you want to keep tarasenko or Kane and move on from Chytil or Laf or even trockeck give Detroit a call.
