bunting isnt taking a paycut to play for a lottery team, canes arent paying you for a cap dump, nashville isnt helping you out with a terrible contract

I’d take that if I’m Nashville. I think some other moves would hav to occur first though, as it would leave us with a shortage of LHDs

McDonagh has been downright bad since the beginning of the new year. Josi Carrie’s him in that pairing, and now that they aren’t together, it shows. Risto is probably the better player here. I have more faith in him than I do in McDonagh

risto is not the better player, hes awful, ur better off paying to get rid of him

I mean he’s out producing McDonagh in a worse offensive team and his defensive numbers are better. I don’t see how McDonagh offers more than him

I dont know if changing mcd to risto is worth all the hassel it would necessitate. Would need to trade a rhd and rebalance the pairings plus we already have a big slow rhd in foote that can be physical or lauzon of you want to put him on the right side.

Im open to the idea because like you ive seen mcd play terribly next to everyone not named josi and i really dont want to put him there because that then makes the rhd a complete mess.

Maybe Barrie gets moved over the summer. I don’t know.
