Kerfoot deal is interesting. He's a bit of an odd man out in Toronto right now but they might prefer to keep him as injury insurance since he is better than Steel as you mentioned.

Personally not really a big fan of adding AA. I just don't see this team as a contender despite their recent wins.

Yeah Kerfoot is just such a similar profile to Gaudreau that I think he'd be well-received here and could be pretty effective.

AAs I agree on. I def don't think we're a contender either, but I do think it's somewhat important to show the players (i.e. Kirill) that you're willing to try and get help. Kinda the equivalent of throwing a pizza party for employee appreciation. Not that expensive and not really gonna change much or have a lasting impact, but hopefully gives a small morale boost.
