Maniscalco is nothing more than a contract, and one at a position where Columbus is already overstocked. You're gonna need to pay more than that to get Columbus to deal Roslovic, who's signed for next year (and with retention?! I mean, c'mon).

nahhh nobody is giving cbj more than a 2nd + a 3rd. maniscalco is a versatile player and could be a good ahl player fringe nhl in his career. you don't need the cap space anyway.

Columbus absolutely needs the cap space if Voracek comes back next year, so yeah. And Roslovic is only getting moved if the offer is worth it to Columbus, who are already way too thin down the middle of the ice. This isn't enough to get it done, not nearly.

In my opinion if all they're going to do is replace Blueger with Roslovic I think they're better off just selling

??? Roslovic can score. He’s a true 3C. Teddy is a solid 4th line C but this season has shown me that’s his ceiling.

True 3C's aren't bad at defense and terrible at faceoffs. So no - he's not.

Roslovic has 6 goals in 57 games. That's basically 3 more goals than Blueger given the difference in games played - and Roslovic gets significantly more ice time, and with better players. Even if you think he can score - my point is he does nothing to make this team competitive this year. And if they aren't competitive they should sell in my opinion.

CBJ are a black hole of a team. Johnny Hockey has 54 points in 58 games. Laine has scored 17 goals. That’s the team where offense goes to die. Obviously if we add a player from their forward group, he’s going to put up more points on our team.
