Stanley and the 7th is really a nothingburger for Vancouver. The 3rd is a good starting point, personally I'd rather Salomonsson or Kuzmin+ for Schenn.

I would too if I was VAN but unless a bidding war starts a 3rd, 7th and young 3rd pair/7th d is a solid package.

Stanley isn't young, he's 25 in May. He's also a LHD, and the Canucks have plenty of bottom-pairing options for LHD already, so he doesn't hold much value from Vancouver's perspective, even though the value is fair in a vacuum.

The offer is reasonable and personally, I'd rather have a 2nd over this as I think it's likely the Canucks find a team making that offer.

Thats WAY TOO MUCH for Domi, the Jets should not be trading their 1st for a rental.

Domi lives on the PP. Probably the biggest fraud on the market. Only buyers would be interested and he'd be a complementary player on a good team. He just doesnt make sense for most teams. Lafferty, McCabe, I see most Hawks players available getting a bigger return than Tie. Very tough to carve a role for him that doesnt include bottom feeders.

I wouldn't mind Domi but not at that price.
