Good to know a top D prospect, an above average F prospect, a young middle 6 scoring winger, a 2nd in the deepest draft in years, and a 1st is "nothing of quality." Sharks fans are going to be disappointed with the return they get for Timo

It's ok if you don't know who Johansson is. He's Detroit's 2nd best D prospect behind Edvinsson.

He's good but not enough to be the centrepiece to land a top line power forward in his prime. The reported ask for Meier is much more than the offer here. Do we get that package? Remains to be seen. But that's the ask and there's a lot of teams making offers. I'm afraid this one doesn't stack up.

This would be a dream Timo trade, however; that is all it is. It is conceivable but, the pieces are just not good enough to beat out the market. I really don’t see a scenario where we get Meier without including our higher(highest) end prospect(s). Also, the Sharks certainly won’t move Timo without netting a 2023 1st.
