    I agree.

Yup Buffalo really dodges a Bullet on this trade.
Thompson is the best player among ALL of the pieces in that trade. Don't believe it, just ask Vasilevskiy, three goals on four shots.
Tuch is the second best player. Not only is he good, but he makes the players around him significantly better.
Both Thompson and Skinner are having career years with Alex as their RW.

Most important, while one may dispute the value of the five pieces in the trade, it is indisputable that Cirelli, Palat, and Sergachev cost nearly double of Tuch and Thompson, about $21,000,000 v about $12,000,000.
So yes Buffalo dodges a bullet as the returns from the Eichel trade are still imcomplete, because among Krebs, Ostlund and the second from this year,Buffalo is way ahead.

BTW, nothing to do with the trade, but I am really happy Buffalo does not have players as Nicholas Paul and Erik Cernak wearing Sabre uniforms.
When a player is relaxed and is hit from behind as Paul did to Dahlin and listening to the Bolts anouncers diminishing the severity of Cernak's elbow to Okposo's head and try to make us believe Paul did not commit a penalty as his "hands were together so it could not have been cross checking" was disgusting.
Obviously, Cooper approves of this sort of behavior because Tampa is the only team the Sabre's have played this year who have committed these sorts of penalties that could result in injuries.
So this is another fashion that Buffalo won this trade, not infecting that culture into the line up.

Well, well, well I completely forgot about how Tampa treats Dahlin:

I hope Cernak gets a nice long late season vacation, he deserves it.

Hmm TB has won 1 and been to another Stanley cup since this was originally created and 3 guys there were major parts of that. How many Cups do the Sabres have in 52 year I'll wait for you to count ...... ohh that's right the answer is zero. Cernak got 2 probably should've been 1 but ok. Okposo got away with a dirty hit earlier but tell yourself whatever you need to feel morally superior. Go tell your character assassination virtue signaling BULL**** TO SOMEONE ELSE!!!!

OMG, that was Cernak elbow to a Sabre in the last 40 months, he should have received 4 or 5 game suspension.
Please show me a replay of Okposo's dirty hit.
I know YOUR anouncers were tring to explain Cernak did nothing wrong.
Well the league did not believe that, considering his history the league should have given him more.
Only a blind bolt fan would believe otherwise.

    EDIT:
Let me add, the league normally doubles the penalties for repeat offenders not cut the penalty in half.
You should take off your Bolts glasses and watch the game.
Nicholas Paul's hit on Rasmus Dahlin was intent to injure hitting a player from behind when he is relaxed and unable to defend himself.
I really want to see Kyle's "DIRTY" hit.
Or are you using Bolts eyes to determine dirty as you are to judge Cernak.

It was an elbow only a delusional Sabres fan thinks it 4-5 it was shortly before the elbow because I said at the time that's payback.

Am you that completely ignorant of the rules Did Dahlen go into the boards? No The interference penalty was iffy at best on super f***ING slow motion the puck was barely gone. It's a physical game. Stop crying like a little ******.

I need to apologize to you.
I was certainly overly agressive with my comments and should understand your thought process.
After relistening to the Tampa broadcast, I can understand your ignorance.
Both Paul's and Cernack actions were completely glossed over by Tampa's broadcast crew, which you obviously thought were accurate interpretations of the rules.
Well it is very obvious that the referies agreed with me regarding Paul's late hit and called a penalty while the NHL agreed with me and gave Cernak a two game suspension.
When I first started to watch hockey, I learned to accept that the referies know more than I.
It would be wise for you to do the same.

I know the rules as well or better than you I've actually seen Phil Esposito play live. Paul was an iffy call at best and the player safety department is as inconsistent as it gets I thought Cernak was an elbow and should have been a match penalty being it wasn't called I thought a fair penalty would have been 1 game which the NHL agreed with me more than the delusional 4-5 you said. Hopefully you are having an awesome weekend..
