ARZ has an option on that pick. Toronto probably don't do anything on goaltending but if they do they likely get a cheaper guy. Their 3rd string only played two games but he's a .929. Maybe Korpisalo+Gavrikov if the ask drops a bit.

The Rangers are going to use their cap space for Kane most likely.

As a Leafs fan the Leafs decline this trade. That is a large asking price for a guy who would be our 3rd string goalie. If somehow both Samsonov and Murray got hurt going into the Playoffs the Leafs still have our top goalie prospect in Joseph Woll who has played really well in the few games he's played in the NHL this season.

I'd like to see the Leafs goalie tandem next year be Ilya Samsonov and Jospeh Woll not gonna lie. If Joseph Woll can prove himself to be capable of being a constant NHL Backup this season it would be great to see Matt Murray traded out. Either in a similiar trade like we did to get rid of Mrazek which was only trading down a little in the draft or because of how decently Matt Murray has played this season maybe we could even get a mid or late round pick back for him ya never know

Ranger trade is not happening, they don't need more D.

Korpi has been just as injury prone as Murray and Samsonov the past 3-4 years so if the Leafs are spending assets on injury insurance at least send someone their way with a relatively clean injury history.

He had a hip injury and finally got the needed surgery done this year , that's why he's been one of the better goalies since the new year. He's in great shape now , Murray has been out 2 or 3 times already THIS season. Samsonov has been out once (or twice?) This season. Goalies playing at that level aren't easily available, let alone on a UFA cheap contract.
