So...ignore the Cap the whole point here is that the current version of the Leafs is nothing like the draft & develop that Dubas touted when he was hired as GM.

Man, what a mess of "blaming everything on dubas i can" this is.
Including players like vergargahe that lou traded, going back to drafts where other gms were in charge to make his goalie drafting look bad.
Using the "trade for size" line when he's literally done that dozens of times, including the muzzin trade which you seem to think is bad simply because after a bunch of years as a top pairing guy he gets a career threatening injury.

Hell, any player taken later than 15th usually takes years to develop. Someone either doesnt understand prospect development or just want to rag on dubas

Also a big fan of including guys like joshua and rubins who literally walked as free agents when they were ahl players

yes, Lou's missteps had an impact...a 2nd rounder for Plekanec, signing Zaitsev yikes
