This team looks scary

Ha. In a good way or bad way? We have had both before.

Big fan of Eyssimont, plays so hard. It's not that he's "untouchable" but would be sad to see him go.

In a good way haha. Lots of skill. Depth. Players sitting in the right place and role in the lineup. I can't accurately speak to the trades. I don't think that's enough for San Jose to say yes. Arizona I honestly have no clue if that's something they'd be interested in, or if it would be the right value. I think Schenn probably gets a better offer at the deadline this year, but that offer isn't necessarily a bad one. All I know, is this a team I wouldn't want to play in any round of the playoffs.

Probably cause he's gotten away from the Jets trash bottom six which were his linemates.

I don't know if anyone can trash any of the Jets players this year. The team is 9th best team in the league and #5 in wins. This team is a fairly good team top to bottom. Yes, improvements could always be made, but this is a good team this year.

The forwards on lines 3 and 4 aren't good, mostly AHL level tweeners.

Their D core is okay but definitely in the bottom half of the league, doesn't look like the defense of a cup winning team to me.

So you think the top 2 lines plus Helle are the only thing carrying this team?
Ehlers, Wheeler and Perfetti have missed a significant amount of time due to injuries.
Agree to disagree. I respect your opinion. I have no issue with most of the bottom 6 and I would say that Morrissey, Pionk, Schmidt, Dillion, Demelo challenge any d on any cup winning teams of the past.

Our bottom six is full of 4th liners and AHL level players, doesn't compare to the bottom six of really good teams and recent cup winners.

Obviously you're entitled to your opinion like anyone else is but no the Jets defense doesn't come very close to the D's of recent cup winners. Seriously outside of Morrissey are any of the other Jets dmen legit top 4 dmen? Personally if we were just ranking D cores I'd put the Jets defense in the bottom half of the league, probably bottom 10 but that's debatable.

Boston is the best team in the league and odds on favorite to win the cup they have McAvoy, Lindholm, Grezlcyk, Forbort, Carlo and Clifton. Toronto has Reilly, Giordano, Holl, Liljegren, Brodie and Timmins. Dallas has Heiskanen, Suter, Lindel, Miller, Lundkvist and Hakanpaa. These are all top tier teams in the league and I would say the Jets D are equivalent if not better than all of them.

Winnipeg's defence ranks 3rd overall in the league.
