I am all in to add to the FW Top 6 group. But rather than adding Kane who will be too expensive coming with injury risk and after what I saw last game vs. TOR (ROR was hungry the last 3 games with STL, Kane looked unmotivated as hell) I would add a LW with callous scoring for the second line. I liked a a lot that ROR made his debut with Tavares and Marner on the 2nd line - thanks Keefe - but I have my doubts with Tavares on the wing concerning speed - and 2 cooks with the same skillset is maybe not the best scenario.

Early days but I like the look of that line; two heavy bodies on forecheck / cycle with great hands with Marner filling role of elite playmaker. They are all strong defensively as well.

And Kane just put on a clinic tonight against the Leafs.

Against a goalie who had the flue bug and a team that had a BTB with travel in a different time zone in an early start. Congrats. But I was happy for Kane. I loved his emotion after he scores. Good for him.

The Leafs defense as a whole didn't look good regardless of the goalie with the flu. Rielly looked downright bad.

Domi would be a very good fit on the 2nd line LW for the Leafs. You can see his speed and what he can do with just 1 playmaker, imagine him with Nylander and JT or Marner and JT. Been saying it for a couple months.

Yeah, Domi would be nice, but Dubas pass on him last year when he was cheaper so I doubt that will happen. The hole team looked awful tired. Rielly and Holl is a no go as a D pair.

I agree, Rielly and Holl are a really bad pairing. Leafs could use another stay at home defender and 2nd line LWer. They will struggle again in the playoffs without a physical stay at home defender IMO.
