CHI might accept that. I know other CHI fans have expressed interest in a couple of PIT's goalie prospects, and I do like them too. But goalie and LHD are the last positions CHI needs to address, because we have a pipeline full of them at both positions.

Oh ok. I thought you guys needed/wanted goalie prospects. I'm fine to swap out the prospects. Outside of DOC, Puustinen is probably our best forward prospect.

Yeah. I mean... if we had a shot at a guy like Devon Levi or Wallstedt, I would take it. But we have Mrazek under contract next year, then there is Soderblom, Stauber, and Wells in the AHL, and then Commesso and Basse are both due their ELC's by the 2024 summer. It's not a ton, but it's absolutely enough to keep us busy for a few years figuring out who is gonna be an NHL goalie. And there are usually pretty good UFA goaltenders if we ever need to go that route. If I were going after any goaltenders it would probably be in the draft either this year or next year, that way we have a handful of years before they are due ELC's. Gives us time to figure out what we already have before the drafted prospect even turns pro.

I like all the trade targets, but I do think You can add Kapanen and Carter to 2 of these trades. Blackhawks could use him to fill a roster spot and get to the cap floor. I dont know about Carter, but Philly would be a place I could see him waiving to as he was drafted there.
