McCabe's results this year and inconsistent track record don't warrant that return. He's been good, not great this year

Because you can't trade an entire team at the deadline.

If you dig into the details, you'll find a consistent story. The perceived inconsistency is due to Jeremy Colliton's A.) hard push to go to a man defensive scheme and B.) moving it to a hybrid which was a failure as well. Even HOFer Duncan Keith came out about Jeremy Colliton's poof defensive scheme. Then the Hawks were just out of it at the end of the year. Story below for details if they matter to you.

A few reasons. Blackwell stinks. Should be an AHLer. Stalock has concussion issues which...if a team wants to take a flyer on him...ok. Dickinson/Anthanasiou I'd trade, but Kyle Davidson's track record is word for word below.

He didn't trade Strome/Kubalik/DeHaan. Toews/Kane might be a different story because of their history with the Hawks, but Kyle Davidson has been consistent thus far. If you don't get to his value...then they must mean more for the hawks. For Dickinson especially with that extra year...I don't think he gets traded.

I think the trade is fine without conditions on the 2nd.
