Like the chicago pickups. Chychrun is made of glass, he isn't the guy the leafs need and if they go in that direction they will need to move Sandin.

Chychrun has definitely had a few injuries but he's a great player, 4.6 for the next 3 years is a solid deal for him, especially if Muzzin is out for good. I think Leafs should target these Chi players cause their solid for this year and cost controlled for next, especially Raddysh at 758K

Honestly perplexed by this Chicago deal. Lafferty is basically a replacement-level bottom-6 guy and Raddysh is only scoring at a 40 point pace because he's shooting almost 19%. Not to say they're worthless players, but this package is nuts - it's a 1st/2nd/3rd combo, plus Hirvonen & Abruzzese? This just feels like a crazy price to pay for a pair of 3rd/4th liners just because they have cap certainty for next year - you can easily go out and find bottom-6 guys in UFA around a $1M AAV, too, if you don't think anyone currently on your AHL team is capable of being a somewhat decent defensive player and putting up 30-35 points over an 82 game season.

I think Bjugstad is a fine guy to chase considering he'll probably only cost a 3rd/4th rounder, but I think the price you're paying here for Chych is kind of prohibitive. I think Sandin or Niemela/1st/3rd/Voit would be more than enough; I also think Arizona would take back an expiring deal like Kerfoot's to make the cap work this year for you without needing more value added.

I may have overpaid here on Laf and Raddysh but my thoughts on Raddysh were simlar to the deal for Hagel last year but after looking into it some more its clear that Hagel is a much superior player, maybe this same deal but add Domi 50% retained for this year. I put out another one similar but a bit different

I'd rather throw the assets towards Chicago and try to grab McCabe as well than get Chychrun
