I don't imagine Seattle having that much interest in Tarasenko. With as deep of a forward group as they have, the Kraken would be better served using their draft capital to upgrade the roster elsewhere. GMRF also passed over Tarasenko at the expansion draft in favor of Dunn, a decision that is looking more wise by the day. I think Seattle would much rather keep Tolvanen and the draft picks and the cap flexibility afforded by them, instead of trade for Tarasenko and sign him to a huge extension that runs through his thirties.
