maybe fair enough with the rest of the package but what would the rights to Gritsyuk for a team trading a pick for him be if there was a question of him coming over or no? Not being snarky asking your opinion?
Oh ok, got it.
As far as I'm aware there's no real doubt as to whether Gritsyuk is coming over or not, from what I gather that's more of an inevitability.
The question is more whether Gritsyuk comes to NA for the 23/24 season or the one after.
As for the player, I'm VERY high on Gritsyuk.
Last season he had some of the strongest 5v5 impacts in the KHL, as tracked by Lassi Alanen, and while his scoring rates are down this season he is by all accounts still playing very well.

Devils advocate pun intended…
Boeser is still on a 60pt pace & not on PP1. Now that Bo is gone expect him back on it. It’s one thing to pick on a single season that isn’t over. It’s getting stale. You cannot honestly believe he has nothing more to give? Also given the coach carousel & constant line blender most wingers are not doing well other than Kuzmenko. Change of scenery can only help. On his 6.65m cap hit there is some merit in that the flat cap has made it a league wide issue to move many players. It deflates value across the board.
I get all that, but it doesn't change the fact that Boeser is constantly getting outshot, outchanced and outscored (also worse in those regards relative to the Canucks average) whenever he steps onto the ice at 5v5.
Despite his rather decent rate of production (60pt pace as you say), the Canucks are worse off with Boeser on the ice.
The Canucks are paying a very big price for the points he puts up.
