Description

Just a survey of some possible trade targets to address our obvious problem.

Questions for Fellow Los Angeles Fans:
(1) Who would you like us to acquire?
(2) Who/what would you trade for him?
(3) Who do you think I left out?

Questions for Fans of Other Teams:
(1) Is/are the player(s) from your team available?
(2) Who/what would you trade him for?
(3) Who do you think I left out?

I've left out obviously absurd impossibilities like Miro Heiskanen and Jake Sanderson, and equally silly prospect ideas like Simon Edvinsson and Luke Hughes.

Seems like the most likely "big ticket" choice. But cap considerations make this one tough, because Arizona won't retain and the only offsetting players we have that the Coyotes would be likely to want are Iafallo and Roy.

Honestly, I think the most likely target is Olli Maatta due to his inexpensive asking price, upcoming UFA status, and familiarity with (and success in) the LA Kings system.

You are correct that Samuelsson is a non starter. Value isn't bad but we are done selling off. He is a part of our ascending code as evidenced by his 7 year extension
