You're not getting 3 firsts and a 2nd for a rental winger.

I don’t see the value for San Jose here

I wouldn’t take this deal if I’m San Jose. Couple good but not great prospects, late 1st… Nah.

Most likely will be a worse team trading for Meier who have better prospects or a higher 1st rounder to offer.

What’s there not to see? This would easily be their best return. 3 1sts and a 2nd. One who should’ve went around top 10 last year and one nearly a ppg in the AHL as a 21 year old d man. This is a great return for them.

It’s interesting to me how so many people agree with the NJ mock trades of Mukhamadullin and a 1st yet so far the majority of people don’t like this trade. Lambert + Heinola on top of a 1st is better than any package the 3 metro teams interested will offer.

The worst team that could trade for Meier is Buffalo, and you’re still looking at a high 10’s pick if that’s the case. I wouldn’t be too concerned with that either. A first is a first and 30 is the new 20 in this class.

3 firsts where? Are we looking at the same trade? Lambert should not have been top 10 and he’s proving that by continuing to do nothing. San Jose could have had him twice in the draft and didn’t take him. Heinola is worth a 2nd I’m sure. Benning is worth that himself if not more. And that 1st is later. Rather keep a cheap top 4 dman and a star power forward

Lambert, Heinola, and the 2023 first. There's your 3.

Also, not sure where you're getting Benning's high value from. He is not good. Your rebuttal is probably points, so let me just stop you ahead of time. He's on pace for 20 primary points. Not sure who is giving up a second for that.

It's funny how all Sharks fans would rather "keep" Timo than trade him for all these packages when the real choice is trade him or lose him.

Where is it trade him or lose him? He’s an RFA he isn’t going anywhere. Sharks can afford him too so idk what you’re talking about. Benning makes $1.25 mil with years left and is a top 4 Dman, 21 points ties a career high already. Points are points, primary or not.

Lambert isn’t worth a 1st today guaranteed

“Points are points, primary or not.” 💀 I can see how far your hockey knowledge extends.

Lambert is 100% a 1st in a 2022 redraft. Judging someone off half a season, let alone a JUNIORS season, is crazy talk.
