Take out Peterson and the 5th and the Hawks probably accept. Faksa and the 2nd for F/C. Or Hawks can send back a guy like Cam Hillis or Cooper Zech.

why take out Peterson? I guess if it's a contract/roster space thing, I agree. But he's not a bad prospect at all.

In the 3 or 4 Icehogs/Stars games I've watched this season he wasn't really impactful in any of them. And he's almost 24, not really a prospect still is he? I'm just adverse to trading any picks away too.

Yeah. I definitely wouldn't send out any extra picks. His contract is expiring anyway and if CHI doesn't see resigning him as a realistic option there is no point in giving up a pick for him. Plus they have to worry about the contract limit. But, I don't mind him if they think giving him an extension is realistic for next season.
