Not even in the ballpark for Bo Horvat, That offer is blown away by a country mile. Without Lysell or Carlo being in the deal. Boston just doesn't have the pieces for Horvat.

Lohrei is a top D prospect whos ceiling is higher than Carlos and arguably Lysells. Vancouver also gets a late first but its a really deep draft and two very strong middle six prospects. Vancouver wont get a lot more than that and Horvat is no chance in re signing with them next season.

Why not? Vancouver gets arguably the Bruins best prospect, a late first in a really deep draft plus two good middle six prospects for a guy who wont be in Vancouver next year regardless.

It doesn’t work for boston. There is no scenario outside a major season ending injury in which horvat makes any sense in boston.

There’s like a 1% chance Lohrei ever gets to Carlo’s level.

Sooooo do you not understand how prospects work? Very few of them reach their, “projection.” I think you’re confusing projection with ceiling. There’s a small chance Lohrei will be top four. Carlo is top four. Moving on.

As i said before Lohrei has a higher ceiling than Carlo and arguably Lysell, where are you getting the numbers like the 1% chance Lohrei will be better than Carlo or is that all just made up?

Of course its made up. As is his ceiling. As is his projection. No one has a crystal ball bud.

So yo must also think Charlie Coyle is worth more in a trade than what Bedard currently is, since Coyle is NHL proven Bedard only has a 1% chance of being better than him.

Guys granted exception player status almost always pan out. First overall picks almost always pan out. Guys that set world junior records usually pan out.

2nd rounders out of the ushl rarely do, and shouldn’t even be brought up in these conversations until they’ve had professional hockey experience and success
