Just not sure these are good Targets for the Flames, especially under Sutter

We probably have someone on the Wranglers just as good if not better than Zadina (Coronato/Phillips/Schwindt) at 1/3-1/2 the cost.

Been there done that with Czarnik as well whos too small for Sutter’s Bottom-6

There is no way that Detroit will trade Liam Dower Nilsson and Filip Zadina for a 2nd round pick and two nobodies.

LDN is a nobody too and DET should be happy to get a 2nd for Zadina at this point. At 23 and making $1.825mil/yr he’s approaching bust & cap dump territory. He definitely needs a change of scenery but without producing much offensively and playing poorly defensively, what team would really want him, especially with his Cap Hit

DET will be Lucky to get a 3rd from a Cap Floor Team like ARI or ANA, but in the end, Zadina probably gets claimed for free like Jusso Valimaki did this season

Good, we don't want those Detroit guys either. We had Czarnik before he has negative value, LDN a small not very good left shot forward would be useless to Calgary even on the farm and we won't be wasting nearly all of our limited cap space on yet another left shot forward we don't need who's never lived up to his draft pedigree (Zadina)

That may very well be a reasoned opinion for Calgary but why are you taking it up with me? I'm not the one making the proposed trade here.

I'm arguing on behalf of Detroit here, if you have problems with the worth of the trade from the viewpoint of Calgary then take it up with the person who made the offer not me.

That Is a brain dead trade for the wings to make you take zadina as is. Is a decent 3rd liner with pedigree to be better a decent prospect in dower nilsson for a 2nd and that’s it. Why tf would the red wings do this
