Avs decline. Rather keep a future than a guy who's a bust and even with 50% retained isn't worth it.

What are the chances in thé near future that Beaucage play with Avs? 1,2 or 3 years away. Where will he plats in thé roster?

I know people hâte Drouin but he still can bring good hockey as a pp specialist. So why complain saying this is mot a fait value?

What are the chances Beaucage costs $2.75M against the cap?

The problem with Drouin is that he’s a mediocre NHLer getting paid like a top 6 guy. Even half retained, acquiring Drouin means that you basically cannot make any additional TDL moves.

In the off season, I’d be okay if he signed a PTO or a <$1M prove it contract (similar to Galchenyuk). But right now, there’s not a place for him on a playoff team.

Avs easily decline no one is giving up positive assets for a guy who had 1 goal 8 assists in the calendar year 2022 and costs even 2.75 million in cap. A guy who is hideous defensive player. Is a me first primadona.

Geez! The guy as mental health issue, and many other physical health that as downgraded is game but he is still an effective offense player.

Where do you see Beaucage in 3 years from now?

No he isn't an "effective offensive player." He SUCKS . In 28 games this year 0 I repeat 0 goals 12 assists and a -14 I wouldn't give you a duffel bag full of pucks for him. Don't care if Beaucage doesn't ever skate in an NHL GAME!!!!!!

he needs to play in a real hockey core to grow some balls. The kids is a better Armia and in our top 9 can become a great player. I'm confident that MSL can fix is attitude.

Edmonton would need to send cap back in an Edmundson trade anyway. Puljujarvi's deal is up at the end of the season, so worst case you get the '23 1st for Edmundson (50% retained) & Ylonen and you let Pool Party walk. Best case, you give him 20-25 games in your top 6 and he rediscovers his game in a lower pressure environment - it's entirely possible that the fact that he's on a line with two of the best players in the world is making him grip that stick a little too tight, no?
