Colorado doesn't need wingers, EDM is looking for defense, and Suter is basically a cap dump. DAL can do a lot better.

Edmonton says no.. Yamamoto is better than both those players. And we have cap issues…. So not adding an expensive player, even if you retain a tiny bit

I can't see kubalik getting a 1st, Bert just won't have that value I think and 2 disappointments aren't going to move the needle with Edmonton. I really thought we'd clean up this deadline but I think it's going to disappoint.

That's too much much for Kubalik besides with Vrana's and Bertuzzi's future being unclear it makes sense to hold on to him.

I don't see Calgary trading Pelletier and currently Bertuzzi is worth half of that. I honestly think at this point Bertuzzi signs a 1 or 2 year deal with Detroit because it makes the most sense. His trade value has bottomed out and he is not going to get the the big contract that was expected if he had a good season.

The only thing in that Edmonton trade that has value to Detroit in the 2nd rd pick. I wouldn't Zadina for JP straight up and Yamamoto is a Smurf with Suter like production.

Suter probably goes to Pittsburgh his versatilely is a plus for a depth player.

Which is funny considering he was a goalie. I think he is trying to adjust to the new NHL but he still makes moves that are straight from the 90s.

Yzerman isn't done yet. He still needs to trade Vrana for Mantha, a 1st, and Jensen.

He also needs to trade Adam Erne to St Louis for two 2nds and a prospect.
