I'm not sure we should be paying a premium for forwards right now. And it's probably more of a personal preference, but I'm hoping any forwards we acquire have some size and grit too. Also, I can't imagine arizona retaining for that long, that's crazy pants stuff.

As much as I love Schmaltz, I would still rather the Preds not buy. I would rather just not spend that 1st on anyone too

I feel like the Tampa one is close. Seabrook is done, just sitting on LTIR and due next to zero cash if he's insured. Cal Foote could be interesting. The two picks would be nice. One to take on Seabrook, Foote and a second for Ghost with retention is pretty close but not quite. Myers wouldn't be so bad except he's due ridiculous money next year. Can pretty much rule that out.

Ghost plays right side frequently. Myers makes $3.8 million real dollars next year. Now way the Coyotes do something like that without an arena.

The real money doesn't "bury", just the cap. Arizona could care less about the cap, but is going to care about paying over three million dollars (1.9+1.4) for one and a half seasons of Phillips Myers.

I don't think it's a good trade for either actually. Seabrook they don't need to get rid of it's only our billionaire owners money who cares. Not a chance in hell they give up a pick earlier than a 7 to rid themselves of Seabrook. Jeff Vinnik wants to win .
