Leafs say no....they don't Horvat. Yes, the Leafs are in a win mode now......and next year. And even in 24/25 if Matthews, Nylander, Brodie, and Murray leave, that's more cap to acquire good players.

Both of you are correct. Neither team would do this. Toronto does not want to bleed assets for a rental. They'll end up in the same boat as Florida is right now. That's a bad ship to be sitting in.

And Vancouver would want more for doubled 50% retained players, being easily top 6 players.

I dont think this gets the deal done, but your nuts if you think Horvat pulls that at the deadline.
