How exactly does Kuz not fit...? He's an actual 1st line version of Frank Vatrano -- a shooter instead of a playmaker like Kane.
And to be clear you have to give to get. The Rangers paid that same template of 1st, 2nd, & "kids" (Barron) last season to get Copp and I don't think there's any question that someone on as nice of a salary as Kuzmenko is going to cost more. I also don't envision Kravtsov on the team next season under the assumption that the Rangers extend Filip Chytil so, I've got my eyes on utilizing his trade value.
