Calgary could definitely get a better return, mangiapane is a very solid 2 way winger who hustles hard and produces well 5v5. Middlestadt is a decent 3C who is over producing due to playing for one of the highest offensive producing teams in the league. Not to mention 10 of his 16 points are on the PP.

I don't think Buffalo would do this trade. We have a lot of Wingers in are system.

Where are they putting him, he won't be in the top6, and his cap hit is what almost 6m. I like him, just with what is coming up the pipeline is Adams gonna want to spend that money.

He can be on the wing with Krebs and VO or something. Youre losing most of Okposo's 6million after this year and they need cap either way. He can move up and down the lineup as needed with injuries and apparently suspensions lol. Money is a non issue for Buffalo for the next few years

Overproducing? He's been around a .5 point per game rate the past 3 seasons. You can't say the sabres the previous 2 years were a high scoring team, they were quite the opposite. I'm not saying Mittelstadt is a top line player, but he has been pretty consistent with his point production the past 3 seasons.
