I wouldn't pay to acquire those two guys as the Anaheim GM. Among other things, what good is one full season of Tanner Pearson going to do for us? And with both of them on the IR list right now, and Dermott haven't even played a shift this season yet, why should we expect them to be of any value to us in 2023?

Dermott has been skating for some time. Bruce had said he could play on the current road trip. I think he is young enough to fit Anaheim's plan and had a minimal cost. He played well in TO with Muzzin and others. I wasn't sold on the fit in Van when the move happened considering Rathbone was thought to be getting looks and now even more of a poor fit with Stillman clogging another LD spot.

I completely understand the take on Pearson but he's largely a toss in with retention. He'd be a solid vet, responsible but can add production on the left wing where I think Anaheim could use a player like him and possibly a trade asset at next year's deadline.

It's never been multiple firsts imo. Boeser's deal could be somewhat difficult to move. Maybe a first and a late pick or first alone depending on draft position/who the scouts identify with a draft deal. 3C is a need.

Boeser isn’t nearly as good as the positive perception of him was and now Van is trying to shop him before his value takes a much larger hit. Ppg looks good but he’s a known “goal scorer” who has 2g this year.

The difference between Boeser and Dvorak is whole lot more than a future second round pick. Horrendous for Vancouver…

2g in 15gp for a guy that’s known for scoring goals sucks. I never said he had a “rough start” just saying that he’s a guy that I would love to dump before people realize he sucks / is average.

I'm sure his production is just average. His shot hasn't been the same since the wrist injury but guess what? Good players adapt. He has changed his game in a way where he can still find success as shown by his point totals
