Chychrun is great but isn’t the right fit for what Ottawa needs (LD, Health, etc.)

So I would be surprised if they would even do 1 for 1 with Pinto because he actually fits a very current need right now.

That's why Arizona would accept the offer with a 2nd and a 5th instead of another 1st. Ottawa would want to make the 1st top 10 protected and the 5th probably isn't necessary either.

That first round pick (likely to be in the 10-15 range) is more valuable than Pinto. It might even wind up in the 5-10 range if they don't do something to fix that defense soon. Pinto is worth about what he was taken with the 32nd OA pick maybe a little more but definitely not worth a mid 1st.

Then again Sanderson is doing very well for a rookie so far and they have Chabot on the left side too so they'd probably be better off going after a RD and might be best if it's a big physical stay at home type.

This doesn't come within 100 miles of making Ottawa better. Chychrun to Ottawa was shot dead months ago, it's already being fed on by worms.
