With full retention *and* those 4 dudes coming back? He's going to cost even more - Vancouver is absorbing $7M in bottom of the roster players, eating $2.75M on Horvat, and throwing in one of their more attractive trade chips in Schenn? And Stillman's nothing special but he's the youngest guy coming back and his contract can be almost completely buried if he sucks (I think the penalty would be like $115K.) The Canucks are bringing in $9.75M in cap while sending out about $4.85M - so they're adding an extra $5M to their already tight salary cap for what? A trio of pending UFAs and an LD that's been unclaimed on waivers twice this year? They're gonna need more than this dumpapalooza.
