Canes pass. You're not getting either piece for a dude that has played more than half a season once in the last 4 years and that was the bubble. Easy no.

Kase is an upgrade over Drouin when he is healthy. Besides, Drouin is as injury prone as Kase, so adding a 2nd just to add extra cap and downgrade roster wise, Montreal can keep Drouin as the reminder of a truly terrible trade.

Dallas isn't trading Bourque for Anderson. They REALLY aren't trading him for another 4+ years of Anderson.

Josh Anderson is an over paid 35 point forward with too much term remaining. Until he shows he can produce more, Montreal won’t be getting positive value for him

I don't think, Drouin will be your 2nd line center and cheaper than a 1st and a 3rd for the same job!!

Nah KK's been great. Don't want someone to get traded to a fun hockey market and get worse and worse!

it's the reason why Wadell is looking to trade KK and other pieces to Vancouver vs Horvat...
You're correct to say Drouin is worse, but dude, KK is the CAR 2nd line center with 1G and 2A, make me laugh if you say that he's efficient in defense, you're searching excuse.
Jake Todd: "Before I go, y'all need to apologize to Marc Bergevin for calling him bad names after he "lost" Jesperi Kotkaniemi.
It's looking like he knew EXACTLY what he was doing. The vengeful fools were in the Hurricanes front office all along."

Uhhh... Kotkaniemi's been the center for one of the best lines in hockey. He's incredible defensively, great on the dot. Is 2C reaching for the stars a little? Sure. Is he an IDEAL long-term 3C with Staal becoming a UFA at the end of the year? Yes. Was he worth the 6.1? Probably not. Was he worth the 1st and 3rd? Yes. He's now signed long-term in Carolina and he's still only 22 years old. There's no way that you can honestly say that was a bad move.

And if you're really quoting Jake Todd, you need to watch some games buddy. OH and wherever you got the idea Don is looking to trade KK, you're on one. He's said multiple times (as has Dundon! Waddell may lie, Dundon has no reason to) that Kotkaniemi is going to be in Carolina long term.
