Any deal with Thomson or JBD being dealt for Murphy is a terrible idea.

I would say he's quite reliable defensively. He's not an offensive guy but he's a legitimate 2nd pair shutdown guy.

JBD has ability. Fact he hasn’t played much says more about poor roster management than about him. Fact is he should’ve been in the show last year over Brown/Zaitsev/Hamonic.
