Value is good on the Horvat trade. But I don't see Ottawa being in a place to spend that much on a rental and they can't afford an extension for Horvat. I think Ottawa should keep those assets to upgrade their right D.

I can see the Leafs making a similar package for Horvat though. 1st + Niemela would be the base.

Ya I think it's unlikely for Ottawa too but I hope they are interested.

I don't mind that kind of package from the Leafs either but I'd prefer JBD over Niemela.

Exactly. They'll also need JBD in the near future. Doubt they'll trade him. Objective is probably to pair him with Sanderson later this season
