The Bratt part is where you lose me, but I get it.
Back Bratt and Garland out what else is the add from Jersey? What does a signed Severson look like as an add

Demko is our best player. If you want a franchise goallie, you have to give up a franchise piece. A signed Severson has the value of Garland. Will add minimal value to a Demko trade

Canucks are getting robbed blind here. New Jersey would be dumb not to take that. They go from a struggling goalie to a top 10 goalie in the league, and they get a pretty good RW replacement. Canucks would be ruining their franchise by making this trade

No argument with that, but I'd pushed back on Garland/Severson being the same. A sub 30 yr old rhd top 4 with scoring touch will be desirable.
You're not giving up Demko so it's a mute pt

I would say a Garland for Severson is a very reasonable trade proposal. Could add a bit of value either side but at the end of the day it is pretty fair.

I don't know what GM will do what, but in terms of value and situation, it isn't out of the question.

Garland while good (and i guy id like to have) is what they are hoping guys like Sharangovich will be, what Bratt is etc. They will need the next level guy or just move for picks.

Jesper Bratt is that piece here.

I'd probably vote against it, but understand the logic from NJD side.

I don't think Garland will help as much as Boeser. If there were a choice.

We need the guy who is better around the net.

I'd pass on losing Bratt unless he said no (duh)

Boeser is probably a better option

Bratt is definitely a great player, but he is not a franchise level player like Demko. Demko has the ability to carry the Canucks on his back. Bratt has 1 NHL season with above 40 points
