Seems light on the Lucic trade. He should cost more for CGY to dump, IMO.

Don't see a reason they'd dump him. They're comfortably under the cap and he plays a role on the team. Calgary did all their work getting rid of Monahan.

Only way he gets moved is to bring another Top-6 Forward in and by the Trade Deadline Flames might have enough space without having to move him. I’m sure Sutter wants Lucic for the Locker Room, as Regular Season Enforcer/Intimidator but mainly for the Playoffs

And that's fine. But if they did want to dump him, it would cost more than that. Cuz CHI definitely doesn't want him.

Lucic'd either be a part of the package or shipped out separately for the Cap Space needed to bring in a Top-6 Forward.

Until that Cap Space is needed, Lucic won't be moved

Lucic is still a good player, he's just significantly over paid and poor in his own defensive zone. He's a guy contenders want on their playoff roster. I won't be surprised at all when the Flames keep him
