The Sabres won't because they have absolutely nothing for right shot d. We have lybushkin, and then we have two kids- Casey Fitzgerald (who I believe is Tom Fitzgeralds kid) and Oskari laaksonen. Fitzgerald has looked like more of a tweener, a tweener that hits, but still. Laaksonen is an offensive defenseman, he was a healthy scratch in the ahl playoffs last year, not the kind of glowing endorsement you want if you are gonna trade away somebody and possibly have to promote him to the NHL club. By several Sabres fans accounts, laaksonen has looked very good over the summer, he still has to show he can play in the ahl. Sorry for the long answer, I would be fine with getting a second for jokiharju under slightly better circumstances.

Buffalo pass. I'm not a fan of Jokiharju, but we have almost no RDs. I think if we traded him it would be Jokiharju+ for a better RD or just Jokiharju for another RD that might need a change of scenery.
